Dental Veneers
Thin porcelain or composite shells that refine the front of the teeth.
Veneers are thin layers of porcelain (ceramic) or composite resin bonded to the front surface of teeth. They can change colour, shape and minor alignment issues of visible teeth.

Treatment overview
Traditional porcelain veneers usually require removing a thin layer of enamel, which is irreversible. Minimal-preparation options exist for selected cases.
Common purposes
- Discolouration that does not respond to whitening
- Chipped, worn or slightly misshapen teeth
- Small gaps between front teeth
- Uneven tooth length or proportions

Who may be suitable?
- Adults with healthy gums and treated decay
- People without severe teeth grinding, or who will wear a night guard
- Patients with enough healthy enamel
- Those who understand that preparation is irreversible
Suitability is always decided by a specialist after reviewing your health and examining you.
Treatment process
- 01
Before treatment
You send recent photos and, ideally, an X-ray. A clinical examination, digital scan and smile planning follow; gum or decay treatment comes first if needed.
- 02
Treatment day
The teeth are prepared under local anaesthesia, impressions or scans are taken and temporary veneers placed. The final veneers are bonded at a later appointment.
- 03
After treatment
Mild sensitivity is common in the first days. Your bite is checked and adjusted for comfort.
- 04
Follow-up
Regular dental check-ups and professional cleaning help keep veneers and gums healthy.
Expectations & recovery
Most people return to normal routines straight away.
Biting very hard objects is best avoided.
A night guard may be recommended if you grind your teeth.
Results and recovery vary from person to person. No outcome can be guaranteed.
