Liposuction
Contouring areas of stubborn fat that resist diet and exercise.
Liposuction removes localised fat deposits through thin cannulas inserted via small incisions. It is used to refine body contours in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms or chin.

Treatment overview
It is a contouring procedure, not a treatment for obesity, and it does not tighten loose skin. Skin quality strongly influences how the area looks afterwards.
Common purposes
- Stubborn fat on the abdomen, flanks or back
- Excess fat on the thighs, knees or arms
- Fullness under the chin
- Contour refinement combined with other body procedures

Who may be suitable?
- Adults close to their target weight
- People with good skin elasticity
- Those in good general health
- People who understand that weight gain can change the result
Suitability is always decided by a specialist after reviewing your health and examining you.
Treatment process
- 01
Before treatment
You share photos of the areas and your weight history. Blood tests and an anaesthesia assessment follow, and treatment areas are marked on the day.
- 02
Treatment day
Depending on the extent, liposuction is done under local, regional or general anaesthesia. A tumescent solution is usually infiltrated before fat is removed; technology-assisted variants may be used.
- 03
After treatment
Swelling, bruising and temporary fluid leakage from incisions are common. A compression garment is worn for the period recommended.
- 04
Follow-up
Checks are carried out before you travel. Swelling reduces gradually, and the contour is reviewed remotely over the following months.
Expectations & recovery
Light activity is usually possible within days; exercise resumes gradually.
Swelling and firmness can persist for weeks to months.
Maintaining a stable weight helps preserve the contour.
Results and recovery vary from person to person. No outcome can be guaranteed.
